Camera Operator is the assistant for Cinematographer. He is the unit's cameraman and his duties will involve conferring with the Cinematographer and receiving instructions from him regarding interpretation of scenes and desired effects, lighting requirements for the location and issuing instructions to technical crew to ensure that shutter angles, Camera filter factors, camera distance, depth of field and camera focus, angles of view etc., have all been taken into account and done correctly.
