The Central League (セントラル・リーグ Sentoraru Riigu) is one of Japan's two major professional baseball leagues (the other is the Pacific League). In Japanese, it is often referred to as the "Se League."

The league was founded in 1949 with eight teams. Today it consists of:

• Yomiuri Giants (Tokyo)
• Chunichi Dragons (Nagoya)
• Yakult Swallows (Tokyo)
• Hiroshima Toyo Carp (Hiroshima)
• Yokohama Bay Stars (Yokohama)
• Hanshin Tigers (Nishinomiya)

The Central and Pacific League champions face off at the end of the season in the Japan Series.
