The
Margarita or "marguerita" is the most common of
tequila-based cocktails. Mix three parts of tequila, two of an orange flavored liquor such as Cointreau, or Grand Marnier and one of fresh
lime juice in an ice-filled shaker and serve in salt-rimmed cocktail glasses. May be served either on the rocks, frozen or strained.
The budget conscious may substitute triple sec for Cointreau.
