QRIO is SONY's next step after AIBO in entertainment robots. It's a bipedal humanoid robot that is able to:

• walk on uneven and sloppy surfaces

• perceive depth through its two CCD cameras
• create a 3d map of its surroundings
• recognize people from their faces and voices
• learn
• connect to the internet via a wireless home network
• download and read information it thinks you're intrested about

• dance
• and survive a fall unscathed and get back up by itself again
